  • Equip and support individuals with parenting

and communication tips that help build healthy families.

• Adoption Information & Referrals

  • If you are considering adoption, we will provide you with information and referrals.

• Material Assistance

  • Diapers, wipes, formula, gently used maternity and baby clothes, and other baby care items up to 36 months.

• Prenatal Classes

  • Understand childbirth, as well as learn how to be prepared for labor.

• Provider Referrals or Aid in the application of HHSC programs

  • Medicaid, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Pregnancy Medicaid, Chip P, Children’s Medicaid and SNAP, Healthy Texas Women (HTW), Medical Transportation Program, Nurse-Family Partnership, Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), Early Childhood Intervention (ECI)

Program Participant Qualifications

• Be employed (cannot earn more than $2,383/month per household)

• If unemployed, be actively looking for employment and applying for jobs

• Receive Social Security/veterans benefits

• Have proof of residency (provide a current rental agreement or a utility bill with name and address)

Individuals seeking assistance from the Adult Eye Care program may fill out an application at our office located at 1900 N Spring Street. Once approved, an appointment is made for an eye exam with one of our participating doctors.
