The Hope and Healing Place
The Hope & Healing Place has served children and families in the community, who have experienced the death of a significant person by providing grief support groups.. All grief support groups are offered FREE of charge through the generosity of The Hope & Healing Place Supporters and Fundraising Partnerships.
Group activities might include drawing, painting, journaling, making crafts while sharing thoughts and feelings. Through creative play and art projects, the children are encouraged to share feelings they have been unable or unwilling to express.
Groups are overseen by our Clinical Advisor and Program Director and led by trained volunteer facilitators.
