Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas will ensure equal access to justice and improve the lives of low-income communities by providing high-quality legal representation, strategic litigation, valuable legal advice, and meaningful collaborations, outreach, and community education.
LEGAL AID ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Have a low income
Are dealing with a civil law matter (no criminal or personal injuries)
Are legal U.S. citizens or Lawful permanent Residents (undocumented immigrants may be eligible for help in obtaining a U Visa or T Visa or if they qualify under VAWA)
Live in or have a case matter in a county legal aid Texas serves
If participate in:
SNAP
Medicaid
Public or Subsidized Housing
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
WIC
Legal Aid Texas
