Senior Citizen Program

Monday-Friday

8:30am-3:00pm

There is no cost to attend this program, and we provide free transportation to and from the Center as well as free meals. This program is sponsored by United Way of Amarillo and Canyon. Thank you for your continued support!

The goals of this program:

•  We want to provide a quality and affordable senior program for persons 55 years and older whose income level is deemed to be low, very low, or extremely low as per the HUD eligibility guidelines.

• Participants are offered social and recreational activities and educational access to needed information concerning basic resources to enrich their quality of life, promote self-care, and reduce the amount of social isolation.

Activities Include:

• Field trips

• Pot Lucks

• Weekly blood pressure checks

• Sewing Club

• Games (Dominoes, cards, billiards, bingo, and much more.)

• Exercise activities
