MakerSpace

 is a place where patrons can complete art projects, learn the basics of any craft, upcycle items, and do their own mending and repairs!

Diverse ray of creative hobbies:

• Knitting and crochet

• Sewing and longarm quilting

• Leatherworking

• Craft jewelry

• 3D printing

• Cricut paper crafting

• Scrapbooking

• Drawing and painting

To use the MakerSpace, patrons must have an Amarillo Public Library card and the card must be in good standing. Some complex machines will require the completion of training before being used for the first time. Please call (806)378-3094 for more details.

Most tools, equipment, and supplies are available to patrons on a first come, first served basis. The Moxie longarm quilting machine requires a reservation be made in advance.

Its hours of operation follow:

• Monday through Thursday: 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM

• Friday and Saturday: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM

• Sunday: 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Located on the second floor of the Downtown Library
